WELL-BEING WEDNESDAY #7 | WORKOUT WISHLIST

Easter has concluded now and brought with it all the chocolate, leaving behind the recovery period of the food coma from the over indulgence. With it out of the way, I am finally getting my bottom in action and working for results - the healthy way of course. As an avid shopper, i thought what better way to keep the motivation rolling than by compiling a list of the fitness gear currently gracing my shopping list.

Baggy T-Shirts
I'm currently working towards the body that i'll be confident in wearing tighter tops when working out, but for now it's the good ol' reliable baggy t-shirts. I absolutely love the Boohoo "Killin It" Tee, which would hopefully keep the motivation ball rolling, and make me kill each workout! Another one is this Boohoo Sports Style Tee, which have been do the rounds alot lately. It could double up as a workout top and a top for those more laid back casual days, practicality at its finest, ey?

Workout Equipment
Skipping is one of the best ways to loose weight and just generally tone up, which i learned first hand last Summer when i lost quite a bit of weight. It's one of those exercises that you can leave you feeling crippled with satisfying muscle pain for days after. I have mislaid my last skipping rope, so definitely need to replace it with this Nike Skipping Rope, even for those days when i have 5 minutes free to workout - skipping can fulfill those minutes to the fullest. Dumbbells are also something i am in desperate need of to help tone up my arms and especially the bingo wings! I already have quite alot of heavier weights about the house from the older siblings, but they weigh a little too much for my weakness! I'm hoping to upgrade, or downgrade in a sense to this pack of 3 Dumbbell Set, which come in such bright, happy colours. What would working out be without a pretty pink water bottle? Of course my love of girly things doesn't fade even when it comes to fitness and i'm seriously lusting for this Nike Water Bottle.

Headphones
From now on most of my workouts will be done by myself as visits to the gym will take a major back seat with exams fast approaching. Walks and long half hours on the treadmill are just no fun without a good upbeat song to keep you going! I have been meaning to buy new headphones for an age now but always forgot to pick them up, but now these Philips White Headphones are a must have!

Runners
This is the most desired item of the whole bunch. I have been gyming it up alot recently in non-appropriate food gear so before i do myself and unwanted injury i need to get my self a pair of appropriate shoes- preferably ones that are colourful like these tumblr-esque Nike Flex 2014 Running Shoes.

What workout essentials are you currently lusting for?

THE SPRING MAKEUP EDIT

The evenings are finally getting brighter, the days longer and the sun is making a more regular appearance, which can only mean one thing - the Spring/Summer season is finally in full swing. This means it's now acceptable to be wearing pastel clothing every other day, and a bright lip does not seem as daring.

In terms of complexion, this season is all about the bronzer. The highlight and bronzer is where it is all at in my opinion. A couple of my choices are ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder & Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer, both of which are perfect for these months. The ELF blush and bronzer compact includes a coral pink shimmery blush and a shimmery bronzing powder, both perfect for adding that summer, golden glow to the cheeks. The Bourjois Bronzer is a matte bronzer, ideal for contouring the cheek bones and works great with a full on highlight such as the MAC Mineralized Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle. On the days where i do fancy a more pink toned pop of colour to my cheeks, i opt for the Bourjois Cream Blush in Healthy Glow. Cream blushes are perfect to achieve dewy skin.

With a few palettes and compacts on my list of Spring eyeshadows, it's clear the shimmer isn't going to stop at the complexion. With regards a Spring base for eyeshadow, the MAC Vintage Selection Paint Pot ideally fulfills the role. A gorgeous, shimmery champagne cream eyeshadow, it prevents the eyeshadows from creasing through out the day. Experimenting with makeup has been something i have found myself doing alot recently, and the MUA Immaculate Collection Palette is the perfect implement for this. Packed with a mixture of matte and shimmer colours, the Immaculate Collection Palette is the go-to palette in my makeup stash. I often like to opt for the pinks in the palette, with a matte brown ran through the crease and winged eyeliner for a perfect spring look - which you can see in this video here. Another go to eye-look this season, is a rose-gold eye achievable using the Maybelline Diamond Glow Eyeshadow Quad in Brown  - which may have been pinched from my mother's makeup bag! It's the whole eye look in one go, with a highlight, a crease colour and two all over the lid shades. Sometimes i do find myself switching the brown colour within the quad for a matte brown, just so the shimmer is not too full on!

It appears i'm opting for more natural, toned down lips this Spring, occasionally mixed up for the more full on bold lips. Nudes and corals are definitely my go-to. The Rimmel Kate Lipstick in 03, is the one and only nude i have ever tried, and i absolutely adore it! Its a pink-toned nude, which means the dead-barely there lip look is easily avoidable. The brightest i seem to be going these days on the lip front is the Rimmel Kate Lipstick in 16, a more out-there bright pink shade, which is more on the coral side. The inbetween shade i opt for is the ELF Matte Lip Colour in Coral, a colour which i can't help but feel compliments my skin tone and current hair colour. A pale coral shade it's perfect for the days where you want to go all out with the eyes.

Finally for finger tips, the pales and brights are where it's at. The white nail alternative i have previously mentioned here in the form of Models Own Blueberry Muffin, is the best powder pastel blue shade for those who cannot pull of a full-on white nail. Something a little more fun, is the Essie Bond With Whomever a lavender colour, which adds a little more fun to your tips.

THE SUNDAY VIDEO | 25 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME

Another video again this week, and this time i am letting you in on a few things you may not have already known about me, and my love of Ed Sheeran and Leonardo DiCaprio is thrown in there among things like my hatred of school and my insecurities.
I have the next two weeks off school for Easter holidays, so i am going to use it to my full advantage for all things blogging, vlogging, and revision. My exams are slowly drawing nearer, so i am going to schedule as many posts as possible in the next two weeks so i amn't MIA, as i have been quite of the radar lately. Unfortunately at times like this blogging just has to take the back seat, school always wins, whether we like it or not..

Have you got your Easter holidays yet?
